Wynot

Wynot is a small town in Northeast Nebraska just a few miles from the Missouri River.  With public hunting land just a few miles north and hiking trails, it will surely impress the outdoor enthusiast.  Boat ramps are nearby for the avid fisherman and boater.  Wynot is a growing small town with several new homes having been built over the last 10 years.  An elementary and high school sits on the north end of town.  The high school athletics program offers 8 man football, basketball, volleyball and track  with frequent trips to state competitions.  In the summer, this town enjoys their baseball with teams from 6yrs to an adult league.  Though there currently isn’t a grocery store, there is a gas/service station in town that might carry what you need, as well as a bank, insurance, bar & restaurant.  The volunteer Fire/EMT Department is proud to have a new shop for their equipment, to help their neighbors in case of an emergency.  If small town living is what you are looking for, Why not live in Wynot.
